Havnar Arbeiðskvinnufelag is a Faroese labor union representing workers across Tórshavn Municipality, including both unskilled and specialized laborers.

Havnar Arbeiðskvinnufelag mission is to support and advocate for its members’ rights.

Havnar Arbeiðskvinnufelag negotiates wages and collective agreements in the public and private sectors.

With Ruth Boetius as chair and board member in SUN, Havnar Arbeiðskvinnufelag plays a vital role in supporting the rights and welfare of its members in the Faroese labor community.

The Nordic Union of Service and Employment Sectors, SUN, is a Nordic organization consisting of four sectors: property, cleaning, and security sectors.

SUN’s mission is to promote union-based solidarity and cooperation among member unions and among members within each sector. SUN will focus on union and professional development, as well as other conditions within the sectors in each member country. We have approximately 100,000 members.
